![]() ![]() The thing is, though, that I think a lot of readers would get a big kick out of the Old Standard, so-called to distinguish it from the New Standard that came out in 1939. TOD is hardly in the opinion-forming elite of blogs but the Rolleiflex Old Standard is something of a bargain in the Rollei field and I have my fingers crossed that some extra exposure won't cause Rolleiflation. ![]() There's a lot of truth in the idea that the more a camera is talked about the higher its prices go on Ebay. I wasn't sure whether or not it would be a good idea to write a review of this old Rollei classic. Robert Doisneau in 1949 with his 1932 Old Standard - the same year as my own.
